Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes. The website and the apps are free, without ads. Several of the library's translations may only be used non-commercially, so we keep it that way.
Do I need an account?
Only to write, publish, save or comment. Reading, playing in the browser and opening scripts in the app work without one.
Why is there no password?
You sign in with a link we email you (valid for 15 minutes, usable once), or with Google or Apple. Nothing to remember, nothing to leak.
How do I open a script in the app?
Tap “Open in app” on the script's page on your phone or tablet. If the app isn't installed you get the store page; you can also download the .teleprompter file and open it with the app.
Can I change the Quran or Bible text in my script?
You can make an editable copy of any passage in your script to add line breaks, indents, colours or highlights. The original text in the library never changes, and you can reset your copy.
Which translation does a library script use?
You choose it on the script page. The file you download or open in the app uses the translation you picked.
Who sees my scripts?
Private scripts only you, or people you send the secret link. Unlisted ones anyone with the link. Public ones everyone, in Explore and search.
Can I use songs?
Yes, in private or unlisted scripts. Because of lyrics copyright, scripts with songs can't be public.
Something here is wrong or offensive. What do I do?
Use the “Report” button. Moderators review every report.
