Terms of use

Last updated: 6 November 2026. The German version is authoritative.

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of teleprompter.aralel.com (“the service”), operated by Aralel GmbH, Aachen, Germany. The service is free and non-commercial.

2. Accounts

You may browse and download without an account. To create, publish or comment you need an account, which you open by signing in with an email link, Google or Apple. Keep access to your email account secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the scripts you write. By making a script public or unlisted, you allow everyone to view, download, open it in the Teleprompter app and copy (“clone”) it for personal, non-commercial use, with credit to you. You confirm that you have the right to publish what you upload, including translations and lyrics. Scripts containing song lyrics can only be private or unlisted.

4. Rules

5. Moderation

Content is published immediately. Anyone can report it; our moderators may hide or remove content and warn or suspend accounts that break these rules. We tell you why when we act on your content. You can reply to support@aralel.com if you disagree.

6. Library texts

The library contains texts and translations from third parties under their own licences (Tanzil, eBible.org, Sefaria, editions of Mafatih al-Jinan and Nahj al-Balagha); see the attribution on each page. Several licences forbid commercial use.

7. Liability

We provide the service free of charge and without warranty of availability. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health; for slight negligence only for breach of essential obligations, limited to foreseeable damage.

8. Changes and termination

We may change these terms with notice by email or on the site. You may delete your account at any time.

9. Law and jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is Aachen. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
