و درود خدا بر او فرمود: از خواری دنیا نزد خدا همان بس که جز در دنیا، نافرمانی خدا نکنند، و جز با رها کردن دنیا به پاداش الهی نتوان رسید. Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said: It is (the proof of the) humbleness of the world before Allah that He is disobeyed only herein…

وَ قَالَ (عليه السلام): مِنْ هَوَانِ الدُّنْيَا عَلَي اللَّهِ أَنَّهُ لَا يُعْصَي إِلَّا فِيهَا وَ لَا يُنَالُ مَا عِنْدَهُ إِلَّا بِتَرْكِهَا.

Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said: It is (the proof of the) humbleness of the world before Allah that He is disobeyed only herein and His favours cannot be achieved except by abandoning it.
