و درود خدا بر او فرمود: مستحبات به خدا نزدیک نمی گرداند اگر به واجبات زیان رساند. Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said: Super erogatory worship cannot bring about nearness to Allah if it hampers the obligatory
وَ قَالَ (عليه السلام): لَا قُرْبَةَ بِالنَّوَافِلِ إِذَا أَضَرَّتْ بِالْفَرَائِضِ.
