و من كلام له (عليه السلام) في صفته و صفة خصومه و يقال إنها في أصحاب الجمل
وَ قَدْ أَرْعَدُوا وَ أَبْرَقُوا وَ مَعَ هَذَيْنِ الْأَمْرَيْنِ الْفَشَلُ وَ لَسْنَا نُرْعِدُ حَتَّي نُوقِعَ وَ لَا نُسِيلُ حَتَّي نُمْطِرَ.
They thunder like clouds and shone like lightning but despite both these things they exhibited cowardice, while we do not thunder till we pounce upon the foe nor dowe show flow "of words" until we have not virtually rained.
