وَ قَالَ (عليه السلام) فِي بَعْضِ الْأَعْيَادِ:
إِنَّمَا هُوَ عِيدٌ لِمَنْ قَبِلَ اللَّهُ صِيَامَهُ وَ شَكَرَ قِيَامَهُ، وَ كُلُّ يَوْمٍ لَا يُعْصَي اللَّهُ فِيهِ فَهُوَ عِيدٌ.
Amir al-Mu'minin, peace be upon him, said on the occasion of an Eid (Muslim feast day): It is an id for him whose fasting Allah accepts and for wose prayers He is grateful; and (in fact) every day wherein on sin of Allah is committed is an id.
